Please take advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts.
Students may put money into their account any morning, Monday through Friday. While we discourage charging meals, students can accumulate a deficit balance of $.40. Once this balance is met, a courtesy meal will be provided. As a courtesy meal, we provide a cheese sandwich, fruit and white milk. Please ensure your students have sufficient funds in their account.
Payment can be made by cash or check (make checks payable to J.O. Combs Food Service). Please write your child's first and last name on the check to ensure proper credit. For checks that are returned due to non-sufficient funds, restitution efforts will include the original amount of the check plus a $25 returned check fee. Payment must be made upon receipt of the letter. Prosecutorial action will be sought for fees not paid. Also as a reminder we do not accept out of state checks.
Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for something other than lunch.
Please note that starting May 5th, students will not be allowed to charge a meal to their account if they are deficient funds. Students must have enough money in their account to cover the cost of breakfast and/or lunch. If they will be deficient funds a courtesy meal will be provided to them.
